Highly GDPR Restricted Environments: Inside a German City Administration

A German city administration wants to enable its own citizen developers to automate internal and citizen-facing processes, using self-hosted n8n Community, fully air-gapped, with no cloud models, no external APIs, and Article 9 case data involved.

We hold no credentials to their environment: no VPN, no read or write access, only dummy data censored by their own staff before it reaches us. Specialist government software (Fachverfahren) is either sealed off or priced out of reach, so most of the automation value sits in the manual work around those systems, not inside them.

This session walks through the enablement model we're using to work within those constraints: a week onsite teaching n8n fundamentals to non-developers, then remote debugging support, with onsite return visits when remote isn't enough.
