In this room, ERP means Enterprise Resource Planning. In a child's OCD treatment plan, it means Exposure and Response Prevention, the frontline clinical intervention. ERP works through homework, and homework happens between sessions, in a bedroom at 9pm, with no therapist in the room.

EFA Foundation was founded by Daniel and his daughter Hannah, whose conviction that other families should not have to figure this out alone became a 501. Their first initiative, the OCD Homework Assistant, runs on n8n.

The therapist sets the treatment plan and selects the activities. The assistant helps a child understand, start, complete, and document what was assigned, through real-time voice, and gives the therapist visibility into engagement and completion. It does not diagnose, select exposures, or modify the plan. Clinical trials are underway with UCLA.

Daniel will walk through the build: why n8n, how reassurance-seeking guardrails hold when the user is a distressed child, and how clinician oversight is enforced in the workflow rather than assumed.

Hannah will talk about her experience with neurodivergence and how AI and technology open doors for other neurodivergent kids, and the impact on their overall quality of life.

The wider point is simple. The same tool most of this audience uses to sync CRM records is running an evidence-based clinical protocol for kids. Nothing about the stack changed. What changed is who pointed it somewhere that mattered.
