What can you do with Guardian?

Evaluate & Confirm

Most common. Checks the action and marks it as executed if allowed.

Evaluate Only

Just check the decision without marking as executed. Use for dry-runs or when you confirm later.

Confirm Execution

Mark a previously-approved intent as executed. Use after async approval workflows.

Check Status

Poll a pending approval to see if it was approved or denied

How to install Guardian and use it in your n8n workflows

Verified nodes need a quick setup by an instance owner first, but after that, everyone on the instance can start using them in their workflows. Learn more here.

Sign in to n8n, open the editor, and click + in the top right to open the Nodes panel

Search for Guardian using the search bar. Look for the version marked by a badge Verified. Then, select install.

Once Guardian is installed, just drag, drop, and connect it like any other node in a workflow.
