Nexis finds and removes personal data from text before it reaches ChatGPT, your CRM or a third party. The node detects names, email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers, dates of birth, addresses, health records and national ID numbers, then anonymizes them using the method you choose: redact, replace, mask, hash, tokenize, pseudonymize or encrypt. If you only need to know what is in the text, the Detect PII operation lists every match with its type, position and confidence score, without changing anything.

Detection follows the regulation you pick: UK GDPR, GDPR, HIPAA, PIPEDA, or the Privacy Acts of Australia and New Zealand. Nexis recognizes local identifiers such as NHS and National Insurance numbers, US Social Security and medical record numbers, the German Steuer-ID, Canadian Social Insurance Numbers and Australian Medicare numbers. Allow and deny lists let you always keep or always hide specific values, and you can include or exclude individual entity types.

Encryption is fully reversible. Encrypt personal data before a prompt reaches an AI model, then restore the original values in the reply with Decrypt Text and your own key. Results include a personal data count, so you can route items with IF or Switch nodes, flag risky form submissions, anonymize support tickets before AI triage, or de-identify patient notes for research.
