We are builders

Being a builder is a mindset, not a job title. Because no matter what your expertise, when you work here, you build things - turning a new idea into a working prototype, a hunch into something real and feedback into something better.

We think big, and we build to match. We’re not making incremental improvements to a crowded market. We’re building infrastructure for a new era of work - one where AI gives people and organisations everywhere transformative agency over what they create.

That ambition lives in everything we make, and it asks something of everyone behind it: vision, excellence and the right tools at the ready. We hold a high bar because we’re building something that matters - and the craft is how that shows.

Builders don’t just make things. They take care of them - and that means we’re also disciplined about decay. Small things that slip have a way of becoming bigger things, so we fix the broken window - in the product, in the process, or in the culture.

What it means to be a builder at n8n

  • You have a bias for action (some of n8n’s best ideas have been built at 35,000 feet - that’s the builder spirit)
  • You think in systems, even when you’re responsible for just one piece
  • When something needs doing, you do it - from the strategic call to the dish in the sink
  • You take responsibility for your shared environment and leave things better than you found them
  • You build it, you tend it - ownership doesn’t end at launch
  • Your work earns weight through impact, not seniority or volume
  • You’re never finished, because curiosity and a little productive restlessness are preconditions for innovation
  • You’re committed to your own development
