Integrate Genderize with 2,000+ apps and services

Predict the most likely gender behind any name with the Genderize.io API. The node turns names into a male / female classification along with a probability score, so workflows can act on the prediction or filter by confidence.

Use it to enrich CRM contacts whose gender field is empty, personalize outbound emails based on name signal, segment marketing audiences, validate or pre-fill form submissions, or feed downstream AI nodes with structured demographic context.

The service is backed ~1 billion name observations across 200+ countries with full Unicode support, including non-Latin alphabets and diacritics.

Each request returns the predicted gender ("male", "female"), a probability score from 0 to 1, the count of data points behind the prediction, and live rate-limit headers exposed as rateLimit.limit, rateLimit.remaining, and rateLimit.reset for in-workflow throttling.

You can pass an optional ISO country code (e.g. US, DK, IN) to bias the lookup toward region-specific naming conventions, which improves accuracy for names that skew different genders in different
cultures.

An API key is required. A free Genderize.io account includes 2,500 requests per month at no cost; paid plans cover higher monthly volumes. Set up the Genderize API credential once with the key from your dashboard, then reuse it across every workflow.

The node uses n8n's declarative HTTP routing, so it works as a regular processing step, inside AI agents and Tools workflows, and in sub-workflow chains, with no glue code or custom configuration.
