Quick overview

Turn a topic into everything a faceless YouTube Short, TikTok or Reel needs: a hook-first script in any language, one vertical image per scene and a voiceover per scene, all from the verified GenMagic node with one API key. A tested 3-scene run cost about $0.21.

How it works

  1. Set Video Parameters holds the three inputs: the topic, the language the narration is spoken in (English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, French and many more) and how many scenes you want.
  2. Generate Script with GenMagic asks a GenMagic text model for a short, hook-first script as JSON: a title and, for each scene, one or two spoken sentences plus an English image prompt.
  3. Split Script into Scenes turns that JSON into one item per scene, so every following step runs once per scene.
  4. Generate Scene Image generates a vertical 1024x1792 picture for each scene from its image prompt, with no text or watermark in it, and downloads it as a binary file.
  5. Create Scene Voiceover turns each scene's narration into speech and downloads the audio file.
  6. Assemble Scene Pack Code collects title, scene number, narration, image and voiceover per scene, ready for an editor, a video assembler or an upload step.

Setup

  1. Install the GenMagic node: open the nodes panel, search for GenMagic and install it from More from the community (on self-hosted n8n you can also install the package n8n-nodes-genmagic under Settings, Community Nodes).
  2. Create a free GenMagic account and an API key at https://genmagic.co/get-api-key?utm_source=n8n&utm_medium=template, then open any GenMagic node, choose Create new credential and paste the key. n8n checks the key by reading your balance, which costs nothing.
  3. Open the Set Video Parameters node, change the topic, the language and the scene count, and click Execute workflow.
  4. Look at the Assemble Scene Pack Code output: each item carries the scene's image and voiceover as binary files you can preview and download.

Requirements

  • n8n (Cloud or self-hosted) with the verified GenMagic community node installed
  • A GenMagic account and API key; new verified accounts get free starter credit, and every node shows what a call costs before you run it

Customization

  • Pick any of the image, text and speech models GenMagic offers in each node (the Model field), for example a cheaper image model for drafts or a premium one for final renders
  • Change the image prompt suffix in Generate Scene Image to set a visual style for your channel
  • Add a video step after Generate Scene Image to animate each picture into a short clip, or send the Assemble Scene Pack Code output to a video editor or a posting tool to publish automatically
  • Replace the manual trigger with a schedule or a Google Sheets trigger to produce one Short per topic in a list
