Quick overview

This workflow receives a SIREN via webhook, runs a Sirenic KYB check against French registries, routes applicants based on insolvency, company status, and sanctions screening results, then alerts a Slack compliance channel for exceptions or logs auto-approvals to Google Sheets.

How it works

  1. Receives a POST webhook request containing a JSON body with a siren field from your onboarding flow.
  2. Sends the SIREN to Sirenic to fetch a KYB dossier including company identity, officers, insolvency alerts, financials, and sanctions screening.
  3. Flags a hard stop when there is an insolvency proceeding on file or the company is not administratively active.
  4. Routes sanctions screening statuses other than aucune_correspondance to a human review queue in Slack.
  5. Sends hard-stop cases to Slack with key risk details for compliance action.
  6. Appends auto-approved cases to a Google Sheets audit log with the company name, screening status, source, and timestamp.

Setup

  1. Self-host n8n, install the n8n-nodes-sirenic community node, and add Sirenic credentials.
  2. Configure the webhook URL in your onboarding form to POST JSON with a siren field to the kyb-onboarding path.
  3. Add Slack credentials and select the compliance channel for the hard-stop and human-review messages.
  4. Add Google Sheets credentials and choose the target spreadsheet and sheet where approved onboardings are appended.

Requirements

  • Self-hosted n8n · the n8n-nodes-sirenic community node: pay-per-call, no subscription, no API key ($0.15 per applicant, failed requests are never billed) · Slack and Google Sheets credentials.

Customization

  • Tighten or loosen the Switch rules to match your risk appetite · archive the Ed25519-signed response in your document vault as audit evidence · replace Slack with a Jira or Linear ticket for a formal review queue.

Additional info

Every check reads official registries only (INSEE Sirene, INPI, BODACC, six official sanctions lists), no scraping. A sanctions status of correspondances_a_verifier means candidate NAME matches, often homonyms: route them to a human, never auto-refuse. Test SIREN: 552032534 (Danone).
