Monitor Amazon MAP violations in offer listings with Google Sheets and ScrapeHero

Quick overview

This workflow manually checks Amazon ASINs from Google Sheets against a defined MAP price using ScrapeHero’s Amazon Offer Listings API, then writes MAP violation results and seller-level price history back to Google Sheets.

How it works

  1. Starts when you run the workflow manually.
  2. Reads the list of ASINs and MAP prices from a Google Sheets input tab and loads prior seller offer snapshots from an “Offer Price History” tab.
  3. Normalizes each product row (ASIN formatting and MAP price parsing) and queries ScrapeHero’s Amazon Offer Listings API for the current seller offers.
  4. Compares each offer price to the MAP price, flags violations (offer price < MAP), and calculates per-seller price changes by matching offers to the latest saved history entry.
  5. Writes a per-ASIN summary (violation status, counts, lowest price, violating sellers, and JSON details) to a Google Sheets results tab using an upsert by ASIN.
  6. Appends one row per seller offer to the “Offer Price History” tab to maintain an append-only audit trail for future change detection.

Setup

  1. Connect Google Sheets OAuth credentials and update the spreadsheet URL/IDs and sheet/tab names for the input sheet, results sheet, and the “Offer Price History” sheet.
  2. Connect your ScrapeHero credentials and ensure the node is set to the Amazon Offer Listings API (amazonOfferListing).
  3. Ensure the input sheet has headers for at least “ASIN” and “MAP Price” and the history/results tabs contain the columns expected by the append/upsert steps (including “Offer Key” and “Checked At” in history).
