Log close soccer back and lay price matches with OddsRelay and Google Sheets

Quick overview

This workflow runs every 15 minutes to pull OddsRelay matched odds for soccer match result markets across selected bookmakers and exchanges, calculates back-vs-lay ratings (including exchange commission), filters the closest matches, and appends qualifying rows to Google Sheets.

How it works

  1. Runs every 15 minutes on a schedule trigger.
  2. Requests the OddsRelay Standard matched board for soccer (H2H) using Ladbrokes, William Hill, and Paddy Power bookmaker prices.
  3. For each event and outcome, pairs each bookmaker back price with the lowest available exchange lay price and calculates ratings with and without your commission.
  4. Filters out rows that don’t meet the minimum rating after commission or the minimum lay liquidity threshold.
  5. Sorts the remaining rows by best rating first.
  6. Appends the qualifying rows (including timestamps, event details, prices, ratings, and links) to a Google Sheets worksheet.

Setup

  1. Create an OddsRelay account and add your OddsRelay API key as an OddsRelay API credential.
  2. Add a Google Sheets OAuth credential, then select the target spreadsheet and worksheet in the Google Sheets append step.
  3. Set your commission percentage, minimum rating, and minimum lay available values, then activate the workflow and adjust the schedule or OddsRelay filters as needed.

Requirements

  • An OddsRelay API key (sign up at app.oddsrelay.io). Free gives you 50,000 tokens for 14 days from sign-up, with no card, then no tokens until you choose a plan, on the same key. A Google account for Google Sheets.

Customization

  • Change the sport, bookmakers, exchanges or market in the OddsRelay node's filters. Each one you name changes the call's price, and Max Tokens stops a call priced above it. Run it more or less often in the Schedule Trigger, or send the rows to Slack or email instead of a sheet.

Additional info

Prices carry no commission, so the workflow applies yours. Paid plans are for your own use, and a tool that serves other people runs on Enterprise.
