Quick overview
This workflow runs daily to fetch the last 24 hours of AIHOT news items across selected categories, scores and deduplicates them for a Chinese “learn AI” audience, and outputs a plain-text Top‑N digest you can send to Telegram, email, Notion, or another channel.
How it works
- Runs on a daily schedule.
- Loads configuration (API base URL, category list, and digest size) and splits the categories into separate requests.
- Calls the AIHOT API (aihot.news) to fetch up to 40 items per category from the last 24 hours.
- Deduplicates items, filters out unwanted topics (for example funding or legal news), and calculates a relevance score based on keywords and item popularity signals.
- Sorts the items by score, keeps the top N results, and formats them into a dated plain-text digest containing scores, titles, and URLs.
- Leaves the digest in the final output so you can connect a delivery node (for example Telegram, Gmail, Notion, Slack, or Discord) to publish it.
Setup
- Review and edit the configuration values (categories and digest size) to match your interests.
- Ensure outbound HTTP access to https://aihot.news from your n8n instance and keep AIHOT’s rate limit in mind when adjusting limits or schedule.
- Replace the final placeholder step with your preferred delivery integration (for example Telegram bot credentials, Gmail OAuth, Notion OAuth, or Slack/Discord credentials) and map the message body to
{{$json.digest}}.
