Generate live meeting minutes webpages with OpenAI, UploadToURL, and Gmail

Quick overview

This workflow collects meeting details via an n8n form, uses OpenAI to turn a raw transcript into a styled HTML minutes page, uploads the page to UploadToURL hosting, and emails the resulting private link to attendees through Gmail.

How it works

  1. Receives a submission from an n8n Form that includes the meeting title, attendee email list, and raw transcript or notes.
  2. Sends the transcript to an OpenAI chat model to generate a complete HTML page with an executive summary, key decisions, and action items.
  3. Converts the generated HTML text into an HTML file and sets its MIME type to text/html.
  4. Uploads the HTML file to UploadToURL to host it and retrieve a public URL.
  5. Sends the hosted page link to the provided attendee emails using Gmail.

Setup

  1. Add an OpenAI API credential and select the model you want to use for generating the HTML.
  2. Add an UploadToURL credential so the workflow can upload the generated HTML and return a URL.
  3. Add a Gmail OAuth2 credential and ensure the connected Gmail account is allowed to send emails to your attendees.
  4. Publish the n8n Form and share its URL with your team so they can submit meeting notes.
