Integrate Medium with 2,000+ apps and services

To use Medium integration in n8n, start by adding the Medium node to your workflow. You'll need to authenticate your Medium account using supported authentication methods. Once connected, you can choose from the list of supported actions or make custom API calls via the HTTP Request node, for example: to publish a new post, select the 'Create Post' action and fill in the necessary details. You can also manage existing posts by utilizing the relevant actions such as 'Update Post' or 'Delete Post'. Don’t forget to customize your workflow based on your specific use case to get the most out of the integration.

Yes, you will typically need an API key, token, or similar credentials to add Medium integration to n8n. These can usually be found in your account settings for the service. Definitely! n8n enables you to create workflows that combine Medium with other apps and services. For instance, you can automate the process of publishing articles to Medium when you create new content in another app, or send notifications to your team whenever a new Medium post is published. This integration allows for seamless content management and increased efficiency in your workflow. Just set up the appropriate triggers and actions to connect Medium with your preferred applications.

Common use cases for Medium automation include automatically publishing articles from other platforms, aggregating content from various sources into your Medium account, and managing social media sharing of your Medium posts. Additionally, you can set up workflows to track engagement metrics and respond to comments or notifications efficiently. These integrations can significantly streamline your content management process on Medium. With n8n, you can customize these workflows to fit your specific needs and extend them by adding other 400+ integrations or incorporating advanced AI logic.

n8n’s pricing model is designed to be both affordable and scalable, which is particularly beneficial when integrating with Medium. Unlike other platforms that charge per operation or task, n8n charges only for full workflow executions. This means you can create complex workflows with Medium, involving thousands of tasks or steps, without worrying about escalating costs. For example, if your Medium workflows perform around 100k tasks, you could be paying $500+/month on other platforms, but with n8n's pro plan, you start at around $50. This approach allows you to scale your Medium integrations efficiently while maintaining predictable costs.
