HTTP Request and LinkedIn integration

Save yourself the work of writing custom integrations for HTTP Request and LinkedIn and use n8n instead. Build adaptable and scalable Development, Core Nodes, Marketing, and Communication workflows that work with your technology stack. All within a building experience you will love.

How to connect HTTP Request and LinkedIn

  • Step 1: Create a new workflow
  • Step 2: Add and configure nodes
  • Step 3: Connect
  • Step 4: Customize and extend your integration
  • Step 5: Test and activate your workflow

Step 1: Create a new workflow and add the first step

In n8n, click the "Add workflow" button in the Workflows tab to create a new workflow. Add the starting point – a trigger on when your workflow should run: an app event, a schedule, a webhook call, another workflow, an AI chat, or a manual trigger. Sometimes, the HTTP Request node might already serve as your starting point.

Step 2: Add and configure HTTP Request and LinkedIn nodes

You can find HTTP Request and LinkedIn in the nodes panel. Drag them onto your workflow canvas, selecting their actions. Click each node, choose a credential, and authenticate to grant n8n access. Configure HTTP Request and LinkedIn nodes one by one: input data on the left, parameters in the middle, and output data on the right.

Step 3: Connect HTTP Request and LinkedIn

A connection establishes a link between HTTP Request and LinkedIn (or vice versa) to route data through the workflow. Data flows from the output of one node to the input of another. You can have single or multiple connections for each node.

Step 4: Customize and extend your HTTP Request and LinkedIn integration

Use n8n's core nodes such as If, Split Out, Merge, and others to transform and manipulate data. Write custom JavaScript or Python in the Code node and run it as a step in your workflow. Connect HTTP Request and LinkedIn with any of n8n’s 1000+ integrations, and incorporate advanced AI logic into your workflows.

Step 5: Test and activate your HTTP Request and LinkedIn workflow

Save and run the workflow to see if everything works as expected. Based on your configuration, data should flow from HTTP Request to LinkedIn or vice versa. Easily debug your workflow: you can check past executions to isolate and fix the mistake. Once you've tested everything, make sure to save your workflow and activate it.

Automated Workflow for Daily LinkedIn Posts Using Notion

This workflow automates daily LinkedIn posts using Notion. It starts by fetching the day's post from a Notion database, processes and formats the content, including images, then publishes it on LinkedIn. Finally, it updates the post status in the Notion database.

Set up Notion and LinkedIn credentials as required.

Automate LinkedIn Outreach with Notion and OpenAI

This template is based on the following template. Thank you for the groundwork, Matheus. How it works: Store your snippets of text in a Notion table. Each snippet should have an image associated with it (copy + pasted into the text) Connect to your table via a Notion "integration", from which N8N can then query your pre-meditated posts The text is fed through an OpenAI assistant to boost engagement via formatting The re-formatted text along with the image pulled from the Notion snippet are combined into a post for your LinkedIn The row in the original Notion table from step 1 containing this post is set to a status of "Done" Set up steps: You will need to create a Notion "integration", which will yield a "secret key" which you enter into your N8N as a "Credential". You will need to create a LinkedIn "app" in order to post on your behalf. When creating your LinkedIn "app", you will be required to link this "app" to a company page on LinkedIn. If you are doing this for yourself, seach for the "Default Company Payge (for API testing)", and select this page as it is provided by LinkedIn for individuals. You can find your LinkedIn apps here, and if you get stuck, further instructions on setting up this workflow (including this LinkedIn OAuth piece) can be found in this YouTube Video Aide to these instructions. Lastly, you will need to create an OpenAI API key, found on your OpenAI Playground Dashboard. Once you created an API key, make sure you have an assistant created from the "Assistants" tab on the OpenAI dashboard. This assistant and its instructions will be needed for carrying out the re-formatting of your post.

Training Feedback Automation with Usertask and Airtable

Who is this template for? This workflow template is designed for teams involved in training management and feedback analysis. It is particularly useful for: HR Departments**: Automating the collection and response to training feedback. Training Managers**: Streamlining the process of handling feedback and ensuring timely follow-up. Corporate Trainers**: Receiving direct feedback and taking actions to improve training sessions. This workflow offers a comprehensive solution for automating feedback management, ensuring timely responses, and improving the quality of training programs. How it works This workflow operates with an Airtable trigger but can be easily adapted to work with other triggers like webhooks from external applications. Once feedback data is captured, the workflow evaluates the feedback and directs it to the appropriate channel for action. Tasks are created in Usertask based on the feedback rating, and notifications are sent to relevant parties. Here’s a brief overview of this n8n workflow template: Airtable Trigger**: Captures new or updated feedback entries from Airtable. Switch Node**: Evaluates the feedback rating and directs the workflow based on the rating. Webhook**: Retrieves the result of a Usertask task. Task Creation**: Creates tasks in Usertask for poor feedback. Creates follow-up tasks for fair to good feedback. Documents positive feedback and posts recognition on LinkedIn for very good to excellent ratings. Notifications**: Sends email notifications to responsible parties for urgent actions. Sends congratulatory emails and posts on LinkedIn for positive feedback. To summarize Flexible Integration**: This workflow can be triggered by various methods like Airtable updates or webhooks from other applications. Automated Task Management**: It creates tasks in Usertask based on feedback ratings to ensure timely follow-up. Multichannel Notifications**: Sends notifications via email and LinkedIn to keep stakeholders informed and recognize successes. Comprehensive Feedback Handling**: Automates the evaluation and response to training feedback, improving efficiency and response time. Instructions: Set Up Airtable: Create a table in Airtable to capture training feedback. Configure n8n: Set up the Airtable trigger in n8n to capture new or updated feedback entries. Set Up Usertask: Configure the Usertask nodes in n8n to create and manage tasks based on feedback ratings. Configure Email and LinkedIn Nodes: Set up the email and LinkedIn nodes to send notifications and post updates. Test the Workflow: Run tests to ensure the workflow captures feedback, creates tasks, and sends notifications correctly.
