Convert an XML file to JSON via webhook call

Who this template is for This template is for everyone who needs to work with XML data a lot and wants to convert it to JSON instead. Use case Many products still work with XML files as their main language. Unfortunately, not every software still supports XML, as many switched to more modern storing languages such as JSON. This workflow is designed to handle the conversion of XML data to JSON format via a webhook call, with error handling and Slack notifications integrated into the process. How this workflow works Triggering the workflow: This workflow initiates upon receiving an HTTP POST request at the webhook endpoint specified in the "POST" node. The endpoint, designated as , can be accessed externally by sending a POST request to that URL. Data routing and processing: Upon receiving the POST request, the Switch node routes the workflow's path based on conditions determined by the content type of the incoming data or any encountered errors. The Extract From File and Edit Fields (Set) nodes manage XML input processing, adapting their actions according to the data's content type. XML to JSON conversion: The XML data extracted from the input is passed through the "XML" node, which performs the conversion process, transforming it into JSON format. Response handling: If the XML-to-JSON conversion is successful, a success response is sent back with a status of "OK" and the converted JSON data. If there are any errors during the XML-to-JSON conversion process, an error response is sent back with a status of "error" and an error message. Error handling: in case of an error during processing, the workflow sends a notification to a Slack channel designated for error reporting. Set up steps Set up your own in the Webhook node. While building or testing a workflow, use a test webhook URL. When your workflow is ready, switch to using the production webhook URL. Set credentials for Slack.

Respond with file download to incoming HTTP request

This simple workflow demonstrates how to get an end user's browser to download a file. It makes use of the Content-Disposition header to set a filename and control the browser behaviour. A use case could be the download of a PDF file at the end of an application process or to export data from a database without replacing the current page content in the browser. With this approach, the current page remains open and the file is simply downloaded instead: The original idea was first present here by @dickhoning in the n8n community.

RSS feed for ARD Audiothek podcasts

This workflow builds a valid RSS feed (which is an XML feed under the hood) for ARD Audiothek podcasts. This allows you to subscribe to such podcasts using your favourite podcatcher without using the ARD Audiothek app. The example builds a feed for Kalk & Welk, but the workflow can be easily adjusted by providing another podcast URL on the Get overview page HTTP Request node. To subscribe to the feed, active your n8n workflow and then use the Production URL from the intitial Feed Webhook node in your podcatcher. I've tested the resulting feed using Pocket Casts... ...and Miniflux: When using Miniflux, you can add your feed via this page to your account. Make sure you select Private when doing so to avoid sharing your n8n instance with the world. The resulting feed passes the W3C Feed Validation Service: The workflow can also be used as a foundation to free other podcasts from propriertary big media platforms, though not all of them will be as simple to deal with as the ARD Audiothek.

AI Crew to Automate Fundamental Stock Analysis - Q&A Workflow

How it works: Using a Crew of AI agents (Senior Researcher, Visionary, and Senior Editor), this crew will automatically determine the right questions to ask to produce a detailed fundamental stock analysis. This application has two components: a front-end and a Stock Q&A engine. The front end is the team of agents automatically figuring out the questions to ask, and the back-end part is the ability to answer those questions with the SEC 10K data. This template implements the Stock Q&A engine. For the front-end of the application, you can choose one of two options: using CrewAI with the Replit environment (code approach) fully visual approach with n8n template (AI-powered automated stock analysis) Setup steps: Use first workflow in template to upsert a company annual report PDF (such as from SEC 10K filling) Get URL for Webhook in second workflow template CrewAI front-end: Youtube overview video Fork this AI Agent environment Crew Agent Environment Set the webhook URL into N8N_WEBHOOK_URL variable Set OpenAI_API_KEY variable

Create new Clickup Tasks from Slack commands

Create new Clickup Tasks from Slack commands This workflow aims to make it easy to create new tasks on Clickup from normal Slack messages using simple slack command. For example We can have a slack command as /newTask Set task to update new contacts on CRM and assign them to the sales team This will have an new task on Clickup with the same title and description on Clickup For most teams, getting tasks from Slack to Clickup involves manually entering the new tasks into Clickup. What if we could do this with a simple slash command? Step 1 The first step is to Create an endpoint URL for your slack command by creating an events API from the link [below] https://api.slack.com/apps/) STEP 2 Next step is defining the endpoint for your URL Create a new webhook endpoint from your n8n with a POST and paste the endpoint URL to your event API. This will send all slash commands associated with the Slash to the desired endpoint Step 3 Log on to slack API (https://api.slack.com/) and create an application. This is the one we use to run all automation and commands from Slack. Once your app is ready, navigate to the Slash Commands and create a new command This will include the command, the webhook URL and a description of what the slash command is all about Now that this is saved you can do a test by sending a demo task to your endpoint Once you have tested the webhook slash command is working with the webhook, create a new Clickup API that can be used to create new tasks in ClickUp This workflow creates a new task with the start dates on Clikup that can be assigned to the respective team members More details about the document setup can be found on this document below Happy Productivity
